Stay at Hindon Organic Farm and choose from our farmhouse bed & breakfast or self catering cottage accommodation to experience an authentic Exmoor farm rural retreat. Primroses grow in the farm lanes, bluebells and daffodils in the woods, and the surrounding countryside is a bird watchers heaven. Guests can wander our waymarked farm trail, see our spotted pigs, or stop with a picnic in our award-winning small conservation wood and maybe see the buzzards and red deer. We have maps for walks and brochures to browse through while you relax with a cup of tea as the ducks dabble and the peacocks parade. We are recommended by the Which Best B&B Guide, were the feature of a Country Living magazine article, Rick Stein's Food Heroes, and were also featured on TV's Getaways holiday show. Self catering accommodation is provided in our charming 19th century farm holiday cottage. The property, lovingly re-furbished and cared for by Penny and her housekeeper, is set in an idyllic location by itself on the wooded hillside overlooking the fields approximately 150m up the farm lane from the main farmhouse.
There are wonderful views of the farm and the surrounding hills right, with glorious walks and bridleways from the front door.

			There are quality decor and furnishings throughout, including: King-size double room, standard double room, small bedroom with bunk beds Upstairs bathroom with bath, basin, WC Downstairs lobby area, coat hanging, washer/dryer. Downstairs wet room with shower, WC, hand basin. Kitchen, electric oven & hob, microwave, fridge & freezer Dining area with dining table, antique pine dresser, bookshelf with local information and leaflets, also cd /radio and some cd's. Pay phone. Sitting room with open brick fireplace, log fire burner, comfy sofas, tv, dvd player, sky/freeview, dvd's, and books Enclosed garden with terrace, bbq, and stone furniture Back porch for drying dog/coats. Lean-to for bikes, etc. Parking for up to three cars.

A travel cot, stairgate, or highchair are available on request. Well behaved dogs are also welcome by prior arrangement (common sense dog rules apply, see read our Terms & Conditions for further info).


Bed and breakfast accommodation is provided in the lovely 18th century main farmhouse; a relaxed family home first and foremost with antiques and local artist's water colour paintings throughout, giving it a unique charm and warm character not found in commercial hotel accommodation.
The sitting room is available for guests to use with large sky TV, reading, board games, cards, or just a quiet drink. Guests are welcome to bring their own wine etc.

Guests can choose to start the day with our wonderful organic, free range, and locally sourced farmhouse breakfast or a more continental alternative. Our farmhouse breakfast includes our own grilled Gloucester Old Spot bacon and award winning pork sausages, free range eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, and freshly baked organic bread. Guest can also enjoy Organic teas, coffee, and fresh fruit from our kitchen garden (in season), yogurt, Penny's muesli, and fruit juices. Vegetarian/vegan options too. Even the water is sourced from our own UV filtered farm spring.

Try our special two day 'Pamper' break: A relaxing treat for two that includes two 15 minute therapeutic sessions enjoying the bubbles in our open air hydro hot tub (pictured right), and a 30 minute head/hand/foot aromatherapy massage from a qualified and experienced professional therapist. Guests are asked to bring a suitable robe, flip flops, and perhaps a good book.
Also available is our organic 'Pamper' day: At £99 per person the day includes an 11am arrival for a welcome organic drink, a one hour way marked farm trail walk (can be escorted), a 15 minute hydro hot tub session, home cooked organic lunch, and a 30 minute head/hand/foot aromatherapy massage. Walnut: A spacious b&b super king ensuite (pictured right) with it's own shower, basin, and WC. The room is decorated with Laura Ashley styled beige and white colours with hints of soft gold. Views from the window look over the farmhouse garden, farm, and fields. The room has original dark wood flooring partly covered with soft rugs, and large and extensive cupboards & shelving for storage. An electric kettle and cups & saucers are also supplied on a small table. Together all 3 bedrooms with sitting room are ideal for friends or family stays.

Oak: Recently refurbished this is an ample sized B&B 'king double' room (pictured left), now with interconnecting luxury bathroom with roll top slipper bath, toilet, basin, & shower. Both rooms have original dark wood floors with rugs & stylish decor incorporating neutral cream & white, with touches of black, silver & chocolate. There is a large mahogany wardrobe with shelving for storage, also a dressing table. An electric kettle with cups & saucers are supplied for guest use on a small table. Views from the windows look over the farmhouse garden, farm and fields.

Willow: A long b&b twin room (pictured right) with views over the farmhouse garden and surrounding fields. The room contains two comfy single beds, with one sitauted at the window and the other by the door. The decor is comprised of pleasant Laura Ashley blue & white toile paper with a carpeted floor. There is a wash basin, wardrobe and chest of drawers for storage. An electric kettle and mugs are also supplied for guest use.

This room combined with the Oak king double make an ideal family/friends group of 3 rooms incl private bathroom. There is also a separate guests toilet on the landing.
